At The Yacht, dining has always been about the experience. The build of flavours, the stories behind the glass, the pleasure of sharing something memorable by the harbour.
Victor’s Double adds a final moment to that journey.
At the end of your meal, one guest at your table may be invited to roll two dice. A simple ritual. A quiet pause. And if the sea smiles on you and the dice land double six, your entire bill is on us.
The ritual
Victor’s Double is available for pre-booked guests dining with us Monday-Thursday.
After your meal has finished, one guest from your table may be invited to roll two dice.
If the dice fall as double six, the full food and drink bill for your table will be removed.
Whether fortune favours you or not, the journey remains the point.
Pre-booking is required to take part in Victor’s Double.
The story...
Victor’s Double takes its name from Victor Drew, a sailor who once set out from Devon in search of new flavours, new ideas and distant inspiration.
His journeys were guided as much by chance as by intent. Some voyages rewarded patience. Others rewarded courage. Every so often, fortune intervened.
Victor’s Double is our nod to that spirit. A small roll of the dice, and the possibility that the journey ends differently than expected.
Terms and conditions
- Victor’s Double is available at The Yacht from Monday to Thursday only and is exclusively for pre-booked tables.
- One roll of the dice is permitted per table, per visit.
- The maximum table size eligible for Victor’s Double is eight guests.
- The dice roll takes place after the dining experience has concluded and the bill has been presented.
- If a double six is rolled, the full food and drink bill for that table will be removed. No cash alternative is available.
- Victor’s Double cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, promotion, set menu or event dining.
- Victor’s Double can be used with our Afternoon Tea menu.
- Victor’s Double is subject to availability and may be withdrawn or amended at the discretion of The Yacht.
- By dining with us and taking part, guests agree to these terms and conditions.
